We are a community of PEOPLE GROWING TOGETHER IN KNOWING GOD AND MAKING HIM KNOWN
Ephesians 4:15-16, John 17: 26
We must not assume we can be an island in our faith. God is a relational God: God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He has always existed in community. God desires us to join His community (John 17). Community encourages us and keeps us accountable as we walk through life together and as a result, personal growth in character and faith is fostered. Our purpose in growing together is to develop a spirit of self-sacrifice that is committed to the well-being of the other (1 Cor 13), whoever the other may be. We can only do this as we grow in knowing God: God the Father who personally welcomes us, through Jesus Christ, into His presence; God the Son – Jesus – the Living Word (John 1) and objective truth behind all reality; God the Holy Spirit who empowers us to live a life free from the bondages of sin and fear (Col 1:21, 22). As we live in community with God and others, we grow in our desire to make Him known, reaching beyond our walls and into the greater community.
OUR Vision is TO SEE LIVES TRANSFORMED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST IN OUR CHURCH AND COMMUNITY
